I started the Land of
Baby store when I left my career as a Civil Engineer to become a
full-time mama. It was not long before I became frustrated
while I searched endlessly looking at products for my little girls.
I wanted quality, unique, heirloom quality items that did not
bear a brand name. My journey often led to average,
conventional merchandise lacking that one-of-a-kind characteristic I
desired . I dug deeper and searched for hours, days, months to
find items that were eco-friendly, organic, and fair trade
certified. I would find some here and others there and over
the years I built up my "collection".
While out and about, it was quite common to get asked "where did you
get that?". I was more than happy to refer people because I
was so passionate and excited about my finds that I wanted everyone
to know about them. But the demand for these items was so
overwhelming that it urged me to start Land of Baby. And
that's why we're here. To provide all my favorite things at
one location.
